Sports in Space

    Sports in Space is a 2D physics based educational game designed to be placed into the Perot Museum in Dallas, TX. I am responsible for the visual elements of the game and the design of the user interface. A challenge of this project is the need to integrate a unique and fun visual style with the styles currently in use by the Perot museum in order to make a more seamless union.

Pocket Recall

    Pocket Recall is an iOS puzzle game that asks the player to memorize and repeat color and sound based patterns. I am responsible for creating the visual content of the game, consulting on game design, and creating promotional material for the game. I will also be responsible for creating multiple visual designs available as downloadable content to the player.

Uncool Frank

    Uncool Frank is an iOS arcade game that will be released May 15, 2013. It is a simple game where the player attempts to contain a pawn on the screen. It is a variation on the Breakout style of game where the pawn is contained by four paddles controlled by the player who tilts the device to control the paddles. I was responsible for designing the user interface and for creating all of the content in the game.

    PME is a 2.5D platformer built in the Unreal Engine. You play as Erbu, who is a piece of paper who has the power to transform into various origami shapes that endow him with powers and allow him to traverse the level. I am responsible for coordinating the visual style of the game, designing and creating content for the user interface, creating some of the textures, and creating any other various 2D assets.

Sketchitize

    Sketchitize is a 3D action game built in Unity where the player guides a character through a sketched world. Behind them they leave a particle line that makes a drawing. This drawing dictates the next level of the game that the player will traverse. I have created the 3D assets, materials, and the complex level designs.

Harlequin Noir

    Harlequin Noir is a 3D platformer/beat em up built in the Unreal Engine. You are Harlequin, a mystical being who is under the control of his master, Juliet. You must defeat doctors, inmates, and security guards in the insane asylum that houses your master in order to set her and the other inmates free. I was responsible for designing the characters and creating noir style comic book cutscenes that also included simple animations.

Manage

    Manage is an asymmetrical two-player board game where one player controls and manages a corporation while the other player is an employee in the corporation who attempts to manage the minutiae of daily life in cooperation with and sometimes in spite of the CEO character of the other player. I was responsible for helping with systems design, I designed the user interface, and I orchestrated and aided in the construction of the game materials.

Zoic

    Zoic is a one to three-player board game that pits players against each other in a race for evolutionary supremacy. The players have different stacks of cards that represent different creature traits along the evolutionary timeline. As the cards stack the creature’s appearance changes, with these creatures players must traverse different eras in the evolutionary timeline on an ever changing game board.

Pass the Buck
UI Designer, Systems Designer, and Construction

    Pass the buck is a one to four-player board game where players inhabit the roles of different office workers in a competition to get to the end of the day with the most work done and the least amount of trouble with the boss. To achieve this, players must balance resources such as time and energy in order to complete their tasks. They can either cooperate or pile tasks on to other players in order to achieve their goals.
